The Global Cook's Knife is a smaller sized cooks knife for more delicate applications, but still features the world renowned blade design for an easy and smooth cut.First designed in Japan in 1985, by Komin Yamadi, the Global Knife range was created in answer to producing a contemporary range exploring modern design. Award-winning, Global knives have the following features: Global knives are made from Cromova 18 Stainless Steel with extra sharp blades - Ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell 56-58 - The stainless steel handles have been shaped for comfort with dimples for extra grip - Easy to clean with no dirt traps - The hollow handles in the GS series of Global knives are weighted to give better balance.
